HAPPY GILMORE SYNOPSIS:

After his grandmother's house is repossessed by the IRS, a bad tempered hockey player takes his talents to golf to earn the big bucks and get his grandmothers house back.

Celebrating 30 Years, Sandler's SECOND leading comedy outside of SNL, Happy Gilmore makes its way to 4K resolution. This latest offering from Kino Lorber is bright, crisp and better than ever in every way. The 90s were pure Sandler greatness: Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer and The Waterboy - and now its better than ever for longtime fans. 

The special features contain two audio commentaries, deleted scenes/outtakes and the original theatrical trailer. While with such an anniversary, I'd have loved a bit more bonus features to coincide with such a milestone - the features here are at the very least existent. 

Happy Gilmore remains one of Sandler's most iconic films to date, it's purposefully immature and its an absolute delight. Happy Gilmore has always been one of my personal favorites of his 90s outings, you can't really go wrong with any of the options though. As a first time watcher, Happy Gilmore is a hilarious sports film that takes a sport like gold and turns it on it's head into a thrilling exercise of how to do a proper sports film with terrific comedic timing.

Fans of 90s comedies should be absolutely pleased with the level of upgrade this film has received, as Happy Gilmore has simply never looked better or sounded better than now!
