JACKASS FOREVER (2022)
THE "IMDB" PREMISE:
"After 11 years, the Jackass crew is back for their final crusade."
OUR [TO THE POINT] REVIEW:
Jackass Forever is a self-proclaimed “final crusade” for the Jackass crew and it’ll honestly be difficult to watch them go. From its extremely on brand opening scene featuring nudity to its typical ideas that just don’t quite pan out - Jackass Forever had me grinning from ear to ear (behind the mask).
A lot of times these days we can’t seem to evade the reality occurring around us and that can be mentally draining, but Knoxville and friends are back to save us from our latest crisis - even if it’s only for 96 minutes - it was a true escape.
Fans of the original television series as well as the film trilogy should leave with satisfaction for the disregard these people have for their own well-being. Everyone going into Jackass Forever should know how this is going to play out and with some nostalgic redos / upgrades of some old classics this will certainly be a final entry aimed at longtime fans of the franchise.
What more can you say? It’s extraordinarily crude, filled with nudity in nearly half the stunts and is the embodiment of what was as well as still is - Jackass!
