SQUEEGEE

SXSW 2021 | SHORT FILM

SXSW 2021 PREMIERE: Squeegee is a bizarre short that tells the story of an attraction between two totally different sides of the glass (window). It’s an erotic fantasy that’s mostly without dialogue, apart from a few supporting characters. After entering her office, a businesswoman starts to heatedly interact with the window cleaner through the sheet of glass, with their interaction concluding with an awkward climax. Squeegee’s much more of a, “What the hell did I just watch?,” type of experience than anything. It’s not overly comical or charming, and it’s truly just a bizarre attempt at an arthouse style fantasy.

VERDICT:

SPILLED  POPCORN
