[Interview] As of September 29th, the Jamie Foxx-produced film Story Ave has hit cinemas.

Billed as “A Story by The Bronx,” and directed by Aristotle Torres, the film follows a teenage graffiti artist (Asante Blackk) who runs away from home and holds up an unwary MTA worker (Luis Guzman) in a robbery gone right that changes their lives forever.

In addition to reviewing the film for Cinefied (READ Our Review), our very own Dempsey Pillot also got the chance to speak with the Torres. He picked his brain about the film’s title, star Luis Guzman’s career-best performance, and more!
