SYNOPSIS:

Calling all dudes—buckle up, because the new adventures of Ed and Dex start now! Your favorite fast-food duo is back and serving up nostalgic laughs and new antics in Good Burger 2. Follow Dexter Reed (Kenan Thompson) and original cashier Ed (Kel Mitchell) as they reunite in the present day at fast-food restaurant Good Burger with a hilarious new group of employees. Dexter is down on his luck after another one of his inventions fails. Ed welcomes Dex back to Good Burger with open arms and gives him his old job back. With a new crew working at Good Burger, Dex devises a plan to get back on his feet but unfortunately puts the fate of Good Burger at risk once again.

Good Burger 2 is executive produced by Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell. It was penned by Kevin Kopelow & Heath Seifert and James Smith III. Phil Traill (The Middle, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Single Drunk Female) directs.

OUR REVIEW OF THE FILM ITSELF: 

Good Burger 2 should be safely regarded as a disappointment to fans of the original release. While bringing back Dex and Ed, the fact the two have shown no signs of maturing over decades between titles is yet another Dumb & Dumber To situation. The story is silly, which works in context with the insane premise but the jokes unfortunately miss 99% of the time. It's always great to see familiar favorites return but sometimes its best to leave the 90s in the 90s. | Connor Petrey
