The season premiere of Minx is as hilarious, captivating and oddly sexy as ever. All praise goes to the savior of Minx, Starz as they in a swift move resurrected the already shot second season from Max’s purgatory.

 

This season starts with a muffled bang, bringing back together the usual suspects and a few new faces but its climatic ending last season begins this one with a bit of trouble finding its footing. Once the gang's back together, everything feels like it should, with plenty of possibilities in the future of the season. Jake Johnson’s Doug is just as delusional and cocky as ever and so is his complete opposite business partner, Joyce played by Ophelia Lovibond; both actors returning without a hitch and delivering the performances this show needs to find its footing and conclude well.

 

With this being a resurrected sequel season, I’m taking this storyline with a grain of salt with hopes it ends well enough because knowing the state of streaming - this could very well be a final season.
