This weekend, Vengeance hits theaters.

 

Written and directed by The Office’s B.J. Novak - in his feature directorial debut - the film is set against the backdrop of the conspiratorial South. It follows a posh podcaster who gets caught up trying to solve the murder of a young woman he used to casually hook up with. Despite sounding like a straight-up Mad Lib, the story is actually a perfect examination of modern America. 

 

In addition to reviewing the film for Cinefied (Vengeance Movie Review), our very own Dempsey Pillot also got the chance to speak to Novak, as well as his co-star Boyd Holbrook.
